Number 1 Stunna

Well now they have just lost it.  Believe it or not, the Department of Homeland Scrutiny….er..um…Security, is looking for a formal proposal on a shock-bracelet for air passengers.

Yes I did say shock-bracelet.

Reportedly the bracelet they are looking at rolling out and making mandatory for the jet-set crowd will do all of the following.

  • Replace Boarding Passes (sounds cool)
  • Contain personal info about travelers (not too sure about that one)
  • Track locations of individuals (don’t care for that)
  • Shock the wearer on command, rendering  he/she immobile for several minutes. (WTF!??)

Don’t believe me?  Check here.

Shias and Ali

No response, Jul 06, 2008

A very leaned individual and I had a long conversation last night about shias and their beliefs.  He elaborated on how the agreed upon methodology among the scholars of Ahl Al Sunnah Wa Al Jama’ah is to judge any sect’s belief according to what their scholars say, as opposed to what the individual members say.  Hats off to Br. Vajih Hamid for making me curious enough to look into this.

Following the controversy over in Pakistan with Dr. Israr Ahmed quoting a hadith regarding Ali (ra) and drunkenness it has called into view something that we should all be concerned about:

What exactly do Shias believe about Ali (this is a short precursor to a larger article that O.B. is working on)?

Check out the following quotes from their scholars.  They speak for themselves:

Wherever Quran referred the word “RABB”, it meant as Ali (r.a). [Jila-ul-A’yoon, Vol#2, Pg#66 – Published Lahore]

On the night of consummation of marriage of Ali (r.a) and Fatima (r.a), Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) instructed them not to start their work (sexual intercourse) until He arrives there. [Jila-ul-A’yoon, Vol#1, Pg#251 – Published Multan]

Ali (r.a) and other Ahlul Bayt (r.a) are equal in the rank with Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) and are superior to all other Prophets (a.s). [Jila-ul-A’yoon, Vol#2, Pg#20 – Published Lahore]

Adam (a.s)’s prayers were accepted on the mediation of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w), Ali (r.a), Fatima (r.a), Hasan (r.a) and Hussain (r.a). [Kaleed-e-Manazrah, Pg#92 – Published Lahore]

Ali (r.a) possesses same rights as were kept by Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w). [Usool-ul-Kaafi, Vol#1, Pg#380 - Published Iran]

When the last era will come, Ali (r.a) will appear [Chouda Sitaray, Pg#603 - Published Lahore]

After the death when Angels of grave start questioning then Maula’s {Ali (r.a)} chair is being brought and sins are pardoned only after recognizing him. [Jila-ul-A’yoon, Vol#2, Pg#85 – Published Lahore]

Abdullah Ibn-e-Saba was the first who declared the faith in Imamat and that Ali (r.a) is the true God . [Anwaar-ul-Na’umania, Vol#2, Pg#234 - Published Iran]

Ali is God. (Jila-ul-Ayoun, Vol. No. 2, Page No. 66)

Think over that,

ASAWRWB,

So I’ve been on a quest to find the lines which define the Fiqh of Sexual crimes. No I am not on this quest for unsavory reasons. I am on the quest because I am a father and the safety of my daughters (2 of them) is very important to me. We all know, roughly, what the penalties are in this country for crimes like rape, child sexual abuse, etc. Some of you also know that even adultery is illegal in some states (although unenforced) and incest is illegal in most (still largely unenforced if the parties are over 18 and the act is consensual).

I have spoken to scholars of every stripe and have gotten some answers to questions about these areas that range from pathetically passive, to downright bloodthirsty.

Example, you say? Well in the case of zina (unlawful sex) I have had scholars say that unless the actual penetration is seen by the requisite number of witnesses, no action can be taken. I have had others say that it is enough for both parties to be out of sight at the same time, and a reasonable suspicion raised (which I can find no proof for in the Quran or sunnah).

So I ask all of you to read this story:

and another version of it here:

Now you tell me, in the Islamic State (khilafah, caliphate, dar-ul-Islam, pick a term) that you hope to live in and help to establish, what would be the fate of this fellow? Would there have to be a witness to the “act” and what blame would be on his wife for allowing it to go on in her home.

Salaam.

PS. One last link.
PPS: Please don’t waste words typing about how “you are not a scholar” or some such drivel. If I wanted more opinions of scholars I’d write to the sellouts at Azhar or Madinah. Peace Out.

The 10 Plagues in America

No response, Jul 01, 2008

Plagues in the sky

Below are a list of 10 biblical plagues. Upon recent review it appears that several of these are going on in America right now, if you look at them in a certain context.

  1. (Exodus 7:14-25) rivers and other water sources turned to blood killing all fish and other water life. (Dam)
  2. (Exodus 7:26-8:11) amphibians (commonly believed to be frogs) (Tsfardeia)
  3. (Exodus 8:12-15) lice or gnats (Kinim)
  4. (Exodus 8:16-28) beasts (Arov)
  5. (Exodus 9:1-7) disease on livestock (Dever)
  6. (Exodus 9:8-12) unhealable boils (Shkhin)
  7. (Exodus 9:13-35) hail mixed with fire (Barad)
  8. (Exodus 10:1-20) locusts (Arbeh)
  9. (Exodus 10:21-29) darkness (Choshech)
  10. (Exodus 11:1-12:36) death of the first-born of all Egyptian families. (Makat Bechorot)

Now check out and match the following list, of stuff going on in America as we speak, against the biblical list above.

  1. Poisoning of the waters by industrial waste, which has already killed off more river and sea life than any natural disaster in the known history of North America. Lets not even get into the Fluoride topic either…
  2. I haven’t figured this one out yet. Stay tuned.
  3. Lice have become almost an epidemic among city and suburban kids. So common is it that one of the best selling items at almost any Walgreen’s is the lice-removal shampoo.
  4. Putting aside the fact that a large portion of the populace act like beasts in America, we can look at the “Man’s best friend” policy endemic in American culture. I saw a statistic once that said that one in every 3 households in America has a dog or some other pet. That is a VERY large number of beasts.
  5. Do I really have to explain the sad and sick state of American livestock? Look at any of the animal rights groups’ websites and you can find videos showing the fat diseased livestock who can’t even walk to the slaughter. Fed on Soy, ground up animal parts, blood, and chemicals, these animals are barely even worth calling animals anymore. They are more like mooin, bleating, ulcers fed, skinned, chopped, and delivered to a McDonald’s near you.
  6. Herpes. Herpes. Herpes. They say one in five Americans has it now. Herpes, according to doctors, is un-healable. You can only suppress the symptoms. You may argue that herpes does not cause boils but go check your medical history and the evolution of medical definitions over the past century and you may be surprised….
  7. This one still has to come. With the stuff that they gov is spraying in the sky (Research “Chemtrails“) I won’t be surprised if we are just a few lightning bolts away from flammable particles raining down on us.
  8. Locusts in America? Check the emergence patterns of the cicadas (considered synonymous with locusts in many places, including large swaths of the USA and Australia. In fact some cicadas are called “17 year locusts”) and you will find an anomaly. They have come back much faster than they were supposed to recently and scientists are speculating on whether the trend will continue and accelerate.
  9. Darkness can be physical or spiritual. I think few will argue against the spiritual darkness in America right now. But has anyone noticed the decline in the brightness of the sun, as seen from the ground, over the past few years? Several scientists agree.
  10. Abortion. Period.

Nuff said.

More Nonesense In The Name Of Islam?

Or is this a public safety issue being branded as such my the media?

According to the Pakistani authorities, kite flying has the following hazards associated with it:

• Banned metal string from stray kites was fatally cutting the throats of motorcyclists and bicyclists.
• Children were being injured or killed chasing fallen kites.
• People retrieving fallen kites from cables with metal wires were being electrocuted and causing millions of dollars of damage to the country’s power authority.

Then there’s the fact that, according to the story, certain unnamed “Islamists” have condemned kite flying as unislamic against the dictates of Islam.

Now I have flown a kite several times in my life, and I, for some reason, don’t feel myself tumbling headlong into hell.

On the flipside, during childhood on Chicago’s South Side, I cannot remember one time that a kid was decapitated by a kite string.  Not even once.

And I can’t seem to remember any workers getting electrocuted while climbing power lines to get the kite strings down.

As a matter of fact I can’t remember ANYBODY climbing ANYTHING to get kite strings down, except for kids climbing to occasional tree.

Come to think of it, why in the world would ANYONE climb a power line to get a kite string at all???

I guess things really are different in Pakistan.

I’ll stay home with my kite.  Thanks.

A company has developed ships called Dynalifters that can move freight through the air using a fraction of the fuel that trucks use on the road. In fact according to a company co-owner, once aloft it only uses a 35HP engine!

They are pitching this as a solution for Africa, South America, and other parts of developing world.

The biggest draw, and the reason why it will probably get squashed by “tha man”? These countries won’t have to take out billion dollar loans from Uncle Sam (not my uncle…) to build roads.

Of course the excuse used, if they bother to make an excuse, will be the “danger” of terrorists using the ships to crash into the Twin Towers. Oops…. Too late….

Of course all this is inshallah, on the D.L., hush-hush, blah blah.

Blah
